ABC Website features “Elisabeth Cam”

by Winnie McCarthy

The official View website has an “Elisabeth Cam” video posted. It follows Elisabeth Hasselbeck on this past Tuesday leaving her building and going back to work for the first day back from hiatus.

It shows her greeting audience members waiting in line outside, as well as greeting the other hosts when she arrives late to the dressing room. It also shows Sherri Shepherd enthusiastically shouting “PALIN!” before they go out on stage.

Click the photo to head to the ABC page to see the video or click here. Be sure to check out how they incorrectly spelled Elisabeth’s name in the caption of the video. EDITED TO ADD: They corrected the spelling. It had been “Elisibeth.”

Thanks to the person who emailed me the information. I would thank you by name but you didn’t leave your name in the message! (You know who you are!)

WTF was the comment to Barbra that “I met all of the people you know over the break”. Was EH hanging out in the Hamptons? Did BW set her up with some contacts because (pray) EH is gonna be fired? I really, really can’t stand this woman.

  2. Inday Altarejos Says:

Elisabeth and Sarah Palin should learn from Cindy McCain. I am an independent voter and I respect how Cindy McCain didn’t bash anyone in her speech. Maybe Cindy should take these women aside and show them how to be kind and show respect and dignity for other people. Nobody listens to negative, mean spirited women. I am not from the liberal media. I am a teacher.I also lived in Alaska and the people I knew were kind and helpful and not like Sarah Palin. My son is a social worker and community organizer and I am offended by her (Palin’s)comment that community organizers don’t do real jobs. Barbara, please replace EH with someone who can carry on more intelligent discussions in your panel without having emotional breakdowns. I think she needs a therapist. Send her to Dr. Phil.

  3. GraceKelly Says:

Sarah Palin’s snide milked out slam at ‘community organizers’ was uncalled for. Her speech contained many mean spirited slams. Barbara, Elisabeth even tried to trivialize your own working motherhood. I grew up with you and applauded every achievement you did through your career. Elisabeth Hasselbeck is no Barbara Walters. You would be doing her a great favor by letting her go. It would get her attention that graciousness and dignity goes a long way in your business. She is not getting it.

I would like to say that on Monday October 6th was my last time for watching The View. I can not take Elisabeth and her 10 year old attitude when things don’t go her way. Into the show I turned it off and removed it from my Tivo. Until she is gone, I will not watch.
