Ask Winnie

by Winnie McCarthy

Last summer I tried to take a page from Rosie’s book and start an “Ask Winnie” feature. The idea was to have the readers ask questions and I would answer a select few. This was back when I did podcasts. If you missed all of that, you can check out the podcasts here (although the material is a bit outdated now).

I would like to try to get this feature going again, although I am not sure if I will answer the questions in text or start doing the podcasts again. Maybe if you have a preference you can let me know when you submit your questions.

Send your questions to askwinnie(at)gmail.com, but replace the (at) with @.

    Interesting Winnie,
I remember seeing this on the blog. I never did ask a question or watch a podcast. Mostly because I have a dial up server, and a pretty slow speed. Video’s and podcast just take forever and are all broken up. I usually never even try to watch one.

I would be happy to participate though in asking questions. What kind of questions would this be, .questions about the View, and the hosts,.about the blog…about yourself? I of course would hope that if you decide to do the podcast, that you could also answer them in text.

I have a question that I would like to ask about yourself. I will send it to Askwinnie.

Feel free to ask questions about me. I might answer them! :)

Good Luck with your podcast, etc. As usual, I have a question……………..
Is the chat room still up and running ? I have signed in several times and no one is there. I notice that several of our regular bloggers have not been in the comment section of the RECAPS. This leads me to think that they are chatting in the chat room and I am simply missing the most popular chat room time.
    HELP ?
By the way, I like the comments the best.

  4. Jen Says:

I have a question. Are you a Democrat, Republican, or Independent? Or, are you liberal or conservative? If you don’t want to share, that’s fine too. Ttyl.

  5. Think83 Says:

What direction (if any) would you like to see your blog go in, or how would you like to see it change, now that you’re starting your second year of blogging on this show.

  6. Viva Says:

Is it going to go back to the way it was before when we’d make a comment it would get posted immediately? Is this permanent that the comments have to be preapproved first?

  7. Winnie McCarthy Says:

Viva: They are still working on it, with the goal of immediate comment posting to resume. I will let all of you know when that happens.

  8. Viva Says:

Thanks for letting me know Winnie.
I look forward to getting it back to the way it was.

  9. Stacee Says:

Winnie, I am so happy to hear that!
    :D

  10. Sandy Says:

    Winnie,
I sent about 6 more questions via ask Winnie. Hope they are a help to get this going. I’ll try to think of some more.
