Barack Obama will not be on today’s View

Presidential candidate Barack Obama will not be on today’s episode of The View, as previously scheduled. I do not know the reason for the cancellation, but he is expected to reschedule at a later date. Today’s show instead will feature a full hour of “Real Life Hot Topics.”

This is quite a disappointment for me, as I have been looking forward to seeing him on the show since I first heard that he had been booked. Being from Illinois, I have been an admirer of Barack’s since his Illinois Senate days.

    I read in a political blog about last night Democratic debate that Obama didn’t have a good performance and “had a cold or a flu.”
    A full hour of “Real Life Hot Topics”? Oh dear…

    I was looking forward to the recap with Obama. It looks as though they’re going to have some good guests coming up next week. I love the Dog Whisperer! I may check out You tube for clips of that show.

    rainlillie, good question.
    I used to only tune in for Hot Topics when Rosie was on. I always wished that portion was much longer! Now, not so sure how it will be. Most of what they discuss now is boring to me (particularly when Barb is on).

    This will definitely be an interesting View day.
