Bill Clinton To Appear on The View September 22nd
Bill Clinton will be making his first ever appearance on The View next Monday, September 22nd, according to ABC.
Executive Producer Bill Geddie said, “”We’re very excited . . . We’ve been looking forward to his visit for a long time . . . As a former leader of the free world he may be in for his biggest challenge — sitting down with the ladies of ‘The View.’”
Bill Clinton will be the only guest on Monday’s show and is expected to talk about a variety of topics, including the upcoming presidential election and the Clinton Global Initiative.
The picture above is from the ABC website. I love how they superimposed his picture over the hosts interviewing someone else.
Bill Geddie promises that the ladies won’t be shy and will be asking the questions that the audience wants to hear. What questions do you hope they ask Bill Clinton?
The View, Bill Clinton, Barbara Walters, Sherri Shepherd, Bill Geddie, Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar

Brilliant move by the Democrats.
We will probably have Bill, then Hillary, than Barack and Michelle.
Watch, it will be hysteria. The audience will love him.
I can’t even imagine the vile comments Winnie will see on Monday from McCain’s people.
Oh, the stench of hypocrisy, the agony of defeat.

Kelly: I had not even thought about that! I need to brace myself.

I wonder if TLB will bring up Monica? lol
I’m sure she’ll try to compare Palin to Hilary and the whole sexism thing.

[...] Barbara Walters was absent, so it was just four hosts. The first topic was the announcement that Bill Clinton will be the guest on Monday’s View. Joy Behar said that is one politician she can embrace. Sherri Shepherd had her hair up and was [...]

Nope. At least not to his face. I could see her at a GW Bush event though, saying something like GW coming on without a list of topics he couldn’t talk about and then adding “unlike another past president”
Oh and I’m sure that Monday evening, she will be on the Hannity show for her brownie points, pat on the head and “atta girl”.

Joy or Elisabeth, when is the last time you sent someone a free gift for a home viewer?
Hint Hint….Like a View Coffee Mug? I missed your show today maybe next time…. Joy mentioned on Wednesdays show she was coming to Illinois on Saturday to do a Comedy Club Appearance, does anyone remember or know where she said she was going to be in Illinois? I live in Illinois and I am interested in seeing the show?

It’s really amazing that in spite of the Monica thing and the constant repub. reminders of it, Bill Cinton, if he could run again, would win in a landslide. And with all the publicity that The View is getting, this is great news for Obama! How about those poll numbers going up for him!

Someone in the audience was from the area and Joy said give me your name and I’ll comp you tickets.

I think the women should ask BC how he feels about the possibility of our future president being the man who made such a vile and public joke about his wife and daughter.
I doubt Obama would ever say such a thing, even in private; he’s too much of a gentleman. McCain on the other hand has said worse about his own wife; these remarks speak of his true character.

#8…Unfortunately BC’s affair was brought
to light..there were other presidents who
carried on affairs while in the WH…McCain’s
was not..but still existed.

Oh,I agree, just about every President with the possible exception of Jimmy Carter, Nixon and Truman had affairs and most while in office. Some were long term affairs that were well known by the people around them. HW Bush with a staff member, Eiesenhower with his driver, Roosevelt with a person that his wife knew about and we all know about Kennedy. Clinton was set up. Unfortunately he was vulnerable in that respect and they jumped in. Monica L. just happened to tape those conversations and keep that dress? Yeah….right.

I wonder who will be the first to tell him how handsome he is (judging by their behavior today), wiggle around on the couch, wear the shortest skirt or give the most cleavage?
Hopefully, they prove me wrong and conduct themselves like professionals and give a good interview.
I’m looking forward to seeing the clip of him on there.

ShannonP: (At the risk of sounding *shallow* here) I will *lol* (joke). However, he is still so danged good looking AND he speaks so well.
As for the lies/issues that belong to him, so many heads of countries/states have been messing around since the beginning of time, but only the repugs make a huge to-do over it…instead of looking in their own backyards (because they too do all these kinds of behaviors too, not just the democrats). People in glass houses should never throw stones.
Enjoy your evening!

Remember how the press went wild when Jimmy Carter said he had lust in his heart.
Whoa….. They about crucified him.
