Comment Policy

Here at Watching the View, we encourage spirited debate about The View, the issues discussed on the show, as well as the hosts. We will not censor any posts based on political or ideological point of view.

However, we will delete those comments that are abusive and those that include ad hominem attacks or name-calling against other commenters. This blog is not the place to come to engage in insulting banter.

Please focus your comments on The View. If you want a place to post your beliefs about issues unrelated to the show, please go elsewhere. Multiple violations of this policy may result in a commenter being banned from the site. Commenters who are considered to be a nuisance will not be tolerated.

Please use a valid e-mail address when leaving a comment. It will not be shared with anyone else and will only be used to contact you regarding your comments. If a commenter is using an invalid e-mail address and violates the comment policy, I cannot warn them regarding their violation. This could result in an unexpected revocation of the ability to comment per the policy above because the commenter could not receive a warning.

Please choose one screen name and provided e-mail address and then use it consistently. Individuals who use multiple screen names may have their comments deleted.

If you have never before commented on this blog, your comment will go into moderation. Once I have approved one comment from you then you will be able to comment freely. Comments from new users will not be approved if they are deemed by the site administrator to be internet trolls or if the comment violates any of the above policies.

SPAM and links to SPAM sites will not be tolerated.
