I almost freaked when I saw this post. I was scared to death she was going to be against gay marriage and I would have to change how much I liked her. On the contrary, this video made me like her even more!

  2. David Says:

Now if she would only look at this war we are in with the same objectivity.
Being homophobic is a form of ignorance. Elisabeth never endorsed gay marriage in this clip she treated it like most politicians do she avoided giving a concrete answer. I think she said all the right things but she still comes off closed minded.

  3. Amber Says:

I think that it’s okay to agree with the war. I feel like people shouldnt force you to share the same opinions they have. That is what makes everyone different. People just need to chill out and agree to disagree.

  4. lilkunta Says:

Winnie was this interview done on TV or just on its set?

& yes EH did dance around the question.

  5. Winnie Says:

lilkunta: It did not air on The View. I am not sure if it aired on another television program or if it was just online

  6. rainlillie Says:

I just couldn’t watch. I really can’t stand this womans voice. It’s so nasally and annoying.

  7. Meredith Says:

I am not a fan of EH but I think she handled herself well in this interview and was frankly more openminded than I expected. It was nice to see her less defensive and more thoughtful than she usually is on The View.

  8. Stacee Says:

I thought she was terrible in that interview. The way I saw it was she danced in circles and pretty much avoided a direct answer.

  9. rainlillie Says:

“I thought she was terrible in that interview. The way I saw it was she danced in circles and pretty much avoided a direct answer.”

    I agree.

  10. Peaches Says:

I thought she skirted around it and tried to sound very moderate. She plays to whatever audience she is talking to. Not the first person to do that, but it shows how practiced she has become at doing it.

I was astonished at Joy telling the LOGO interviewer that she felt sure EH was “pro gay marriage.” I can’t believe that at all. Maybe Joy meant to say “pro gays.” If John Edwards cannot bring himself to support gay marriage, then there is no way EH is in suport of it.
