Elisabeth Hasselbeck resorts to bribery with Grace

by

elisabeth-hasselbeck.jpgIn her latest blog entry at Dreft, Elisabeth Hasselbeck writes about the troubles that she had getting Grace to sleep by herself in her big girl bed. She resorted to invoking the name of Santa and God, as well as bribery in the form of a Princess backpack, but it appears to have worked.

Elisabeth also discusses how Grace had to encourage her to take a shower and change out of her pajamas one day at two in the afternoon. For the entire entry, visit Dreft here.

    Thanks Winnie

  2. Peaches Says:

Winnie (or anybody!) — any word, any clue, that she might not be coming back? Throw me a bone, will ya?

  3. Winnie McCarthy Says:

As far as ABC is saying, she is back Jan 7th.

  4. Peaches Says:

    Thanks for the reminder. :(

But what does your gut tell you, based on what they have said or not said on The View? It seems like they don’t bring her up much. Is that a good thing? I’d love to know what your hunch is.

  5. Winnie McCarthy Says:

My hunch is that she’ll be back. I would be very surprised if she didn’t return.

  6. Peaches Says:

    Arf! Arf!
    Thanks for the bone.

  7. Elsie Says:

    Cute!

  8. rainlillie Says:

I think it’s going to b difficult for her to comeback, not because of the new baby, but because the other women have gotten use to her being away.

They freely talk about politics without fear of her jumping in and ranting about Bill Clinton’s past deeds. Just the other day Whoopi mentioned how she “told someone” that deciding to have an abortion isn’t easy. I found it funny that she didn’t say EH’s name.
Of course theres going to be that honeymoon period, but after a few days or weeks, all the things that bugged them about her, are going to start manifesting.

It’s like being away from you relatives for a while, and then spending a week with them. You soon realize why you only see them once a year LOL!

  9. Lisa Too Says:

I’m looking forward to EH coming back. I don’t think it will be difficult for her at all. She’s done it before! I prefer the show much more when she’s on and look forward to her input again.

  10. rainlillie Says:

She may have done it before, but not with all three of these women. Come back in a few weeks after things have settled and lets see how she does.

  11. Elsie Says:

When she came back the first time, it was before Rosie. Star was in marital bliss. The environment was totally different back then. Rainlillie is right on. There will be an oohing and ahhing honeymoon period, and it’s back to business as prior.
