Elisabeth Hasselbeck to appear on cover of Page Six magazine

by Winnie McCarthy

According to Mark Pasetsky’s Cover Awards, View host Elisabeth Hasselbeck will appear on the cover of Page Six magazine this Sunday. The magazine comes as an insert to the New York Post.

Although there are no specifics on what she reveals in the accompanying article, the caption on the cover states, “The View’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck on young love, motherhood, and being a Republican in New York City.”

I didn’t know that Page Six had a weekly magazine. Are any of you familiar with it? I am assuming it is similar to weekly magazines in other newspapers like Parade or USA Weekend. I can’t imagine Elisabeth agreeing to do a cover story if the magazine is gossipy like what I typically think of when I hear “Page Six.” (Of course I could be wrong on that).

Hopefully the article will be posted online and if I find it, I will, of course share it with all of you.

  2. Sandy Says:

    thanks Winnie,

I agree it is a very good picture of Elisabeth.
Don’t know anything about Page Six magazine.

  3. Mia Says:

That doesn’t even look like EH. I hate when they airbrush pictures.

  4. Stephanie Says:

I thought it was a tabloid??

    #4: “I thought it was a tabloid??”

It is a tabloid, it’s part of the tabloid daily The New York Post, owned by the conservative Rupert Murdoch, who is The News Corp.’s CEO, which owns Fox News. All one big happy conservative family. And EH is their airbrushed poster girl.

  6. jackie gossett Says:

Maybe they should airbrush Elisabeth’s conservative comments a bit on the Show. She is verrrry one-sided and needs to be told about that. Also, she is very young and acts as if she knows all there is to know about life; someone ought to straighten that little girl out. I’m amazed that Ms. Barbara doesn’t notice this… and that too is an issue that should be dealt with. Barbara should realize it is time for her to take more vacations and stay off the tube; she can hardly make it up the step to the table anymore!!!

  7. Dee Says:

She has an excellent pr/agent. She is gunning for something else with this kind of publicity.

  8. Sarah Says:

“I can’t imagine Elisabeth agreeing to do a cover story if the magazine is gossipy like what I typically think of when I hear “Page Six.”

I think Elisabeth would appear in any magazine that would get her attention.

And I agree Dee, the pr/agent thing was my first thought as well.

  9. Sooze Says:

Dee & Sarah; I agree about the whiz pr/agent she has, and that she’d do anything for attention. Are they gunning for a bigger platform for her to spread her Repub. propaganda, maybe as a pundit on a cable station? Or are they casting their net for ANY other type of high profile job (in fashion?) because the View is wanting her off the show?

  10. Stephanie Says:

Did anyone get the new york post on sunday?

  11. FireEHfromTheView Says:

I would not waste a penny on Murdoch’s newspaper, or on any publication that has EH on it.

  12. Suzanne Says:

Get Elizabeth to shut her mouth or get off the show that has more then one person. She is a one women show with other people that should have their chance to express their opinions. I love Whoopie and Sherri and Barbara and of course Joy. Please get her to leave the show. I am not happy with her. As well as many of my friends that can’t stand her. Elizabeth needs to go home and take care of her babies.
