Elisabeth Hasselbeck to Talk about Maternity Leave

UPDATE AGAIN: Elisabeth’s last day before maternity leave will be next Tuesday, October 23rd.

UPDATE: Celebrity Baby Blog is reporting that Elisabeth announced on Barbara Walters radio show that she is indeed moving to Arizona to give birth. As a result, her last day on the show may be as early as next Wednesday, so that she does not have to “have the baby on the airline.”

Just in from ABC, Elisabeth Hasselbeck will reveal the details about her maternity leave on today’s episode of The View. She will also discuss her husband’s new job, which I wrote yesterday is expected to be the back-up quarterback job for the Arizona Cardinals.

Hopefully this discussion will answer viewer questions like how long she will be gone and whether she will be relocating to Arizona.

Of course I will post the details of her announcement in the recap of today’s show.

    Hopefully this is a permanent departure! Elisabeth is such a dope and she makes me cringe. Hopefully they will replace her with an articulate, more personable young conservative.

    Although I don’t agree with much of the name-calling(Dope!), and I don’t HATE EH, like most people obviously do; I’m glad to know that she’s leaving early. Permanently, perhaps. Other hosts have come and gone. I think she’s stayed on longer than Debbie and Lisa. She has worn out her stay, no doubt. Good Luck El.
