Does anyone else find it curious why their mugs aren’t on this mug? It’s not exactly a vote of confindence for Whoop & the other new host, is it….

I am now sorry I didn’t get the mug o’ mugs from last year’s season.

  2. Stacee Says:

Peaches -I know, I wish I had picked up the last one (with Rosie on it). I kept putting off purchasing one and now it’s no longer available.

Frankly though, I am glad the hosts pics are not on this mug. I really like this design. It looks nice.

  3. Peaches Says:

Stacee, I Googled “The View” and “mug” and the eBay listings cropped up; so I went there to check it out.
Are you sitting down? The yellow ones from last season are listed for around $50–and some of the “completed” listings show that some have indeed sold for that price.

By the way: A Chicago Tribune link came up on that same Google search that was fun to read. It was a brief review of the premiere of last season’s first show, with Rosie. They didn’t like it, and hated the set back then too. Here’s the link:

  4. Stacee Says:

    $50??? YIKES!
Should have known, though. I figured it would be regarded as a collectors item. Now I will be kicking myself for not getting one when I had the chance ;)

Thanks for the link to the article. Reading it was rather interesting, knowing what we know now. The comment section is funny too; some of the same things we are saying now are similar to what they were saying then. Especially the set. I don’t remember it much, but got used to it over time. I suspect the same will apply to the new ‘goldish’ hue.
