Howard Stern Gives Rosie O’Donnell the gift of him
In the past, Howard Stern was a strong opponent of Rosie O’Donnell, often saying extremely negative things about her on his radio show. Rosie said that his fans scared her and often would say mean things to her when she was out in public. However, Howard Stern has since become one of her supporters, especially after viewing her documentary All Aboard, which is about the gay family cruise that Rosie and her wife Kelli founded.
Rosie has said that she admires Stern because “he tells the truth.” Rosie also showed support for Stern in January when she congratulated him on The View and on her blog for his success at SIRIUS radio, which resulted in a sizable bonus for him. Howard’s fiancee Beth Ostrosky even appeared as a guest host on The View in March.
On her blog, Rosie O’Donnell recently stated that she has never listened to Howard Stern’s radio show because she doesn’t have SIRIUS radio, but that she would like to. She announced on today’s video blog that Howard Stern personally sent her a SIRIUS radio, with a free subscription. She said that she was going to install it in her car and was excited to listen to it. Jeanette, a video blog co-star, said that you have to listen to about 10 hours of Howard Stern before you pass judgment and that after the 10 hours, she believes that Rosie will love his show.
We will have to wait and see what Rosie thinks of Howard Stern’s show, which I am sure she will be happy to reveal in an upcoming blog entry.
