I’d LOVE to hear Joy’s reaction to this picture. Not that she looks bad at all–but that 90s outfit makes me laugh. (I probably have one like it in the back of my closet!) This was taken around the time she was in that Woody Allen movie, Manhattan Murder Mystery. I thought she was good in it. It was made at the time the big scandal involving Woody & Mia Farrow and Mia’s adopted daughter broke. I thought I heard Joy recently make a snarky comment about Woody on The View & was curious as to whether she has spoken out about him and/or what it was like working with him during that time. I know at one time Rosie was very outspoken in her contempt for him regarding his affair with Mia’s daughter, so I’m curious if she & Joy ever talked about him on The View.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the picture was how much her style hasn’t really changed. It is still kind of similar to me. I think she looks good and find it funny when she gets that “Aunt Lenore” look on her face when they talk about her age. Oh she hates it.
I would love to know what her feelings are now about Woody Allen as well.

I just realized this was 15 years ago. Her style and looks do look the same, don’t they? The hair, the clothes. And she still made me smile

The hair, yes. The black pants too. But not so high up the waist, and no waist-cinching belt now. Its like she hides behind them. No matter the occassion (sp?), always black pants. The hair the same. Maybe a security blanket???
