Joy Behar to Appear on Paula’s Party

View host Joy Behar will be on Paula Deen’s show Paula’s Party on Saturday August 9th. The episode, which airs on Food Network at 7/6c, will also feature guests Jay Manuel and Mario Lopez.
It is a “Red Hot Party” themed episode and Joy will help Paula to make Red Hot Sticky Wings (click link for recipe).

I didn’t like Joys appearance with Paula. She wouldn’t touch the raw chicken with her bare hands, Paula had to explain to her as long as you wash your hands afterward you will be fine, she was bragging about her apartment being designed by Robert Verdi and seemed ticked that Paula didn’t seem to know who he was, then talked about how he told her to take her dining room table out of the room because it was too cluttered. So she made some lame joke about how the chicken wings are good because she can eat them standing up since she doesn’t have a table in her apartment. She also of course had to mention politics. WHen Paula asked her about how Obama and McCain were when they were on the show, she talked about how she read that you can tell if a person is a DEM or a REP by what’s in their fridge.
I tell ya.. she seemed kind of aloof and her jokes were so off.

Joy was horrible - she was not funny. Paula was hysterical as usual. But Joy was a stick in the mud, and looked grouchy and cranky. Nothing that she said was funny. I have never seen a guest on there that acted that way.
