Lisa Ling to appear on The View on March 27th
Former View co-host Lisa Ling will return to The View for a guest appearance on March 27th. She will be on the show to promote her new special about underage prostitution entitled “Who Cares About Girls: Sex Workers or Victims?” which will air on Oxygen on March 30th.

Lisa Ling reports on the underage prostitution crisis in the U.S. with in-depth coverage on cases in New York, Dallas and Las Vegas. She speaks with current and former juvenile prostitutes, rides along with law enforcement officers trying to stop the traffickers and goes behind-the-scenes at innovative programs committed to giving these girls an opportunity to build a better life. Of the estimated hundreds of thousands of juveniles involved in domestic sex trade in the U.S., most are victims of rape, abuse and torture. While girls trafficked from other countries are protected under the law and entitled to medical treatment and social services, there are few such policies for American girls. United States law often sees them as juvenile delinquents and they are prosecuted as criminals. “Who Cares About Girls: Sex Workers or Victims?” airs Sunday, March 30 at 9 pm ET on Oxygen.

I didn’t watch the View when she was a co-host. Did she leave on good terms? Did she get along with the others pretty much?

Great I hope I’ll be able to watch the View the day she is on. Lisa is incredible.
I don’t get Oxygen…darn.. I would love to see this program.
I believe Lisa left the View to pursue another venture,…which I can’t t remember exactly what it was, but she was looking forward to it.

Lisa left for a gig on National Geographic I believe. She was an excellent co-host and the show was enjoyable during her tenure. Star and Meredith were at their best too…ah memories.

The times that I watched the show when Lisa Ling was a regular host, she showed quiet intelligence and was enjoyable to listen to but she had a hard time getting her 2 cents in a lot of the time due to Meredith, Star and Joy doing most of the talking. I would like to see her return and replace “miss know it all fox talking person”…what a relief that would be! Lisa has since married a handsome doctor and probably has an interesting life reporting for Nat. Geo and I have seen her do interviews on Oprah.

Lisa Ling is truly missed. I loved her contribution to the View and her expose’ on National Geo.
