New Elisabeth Hasselbeck Q&A on ABC website

ABC has a new Q&A with soon-to-be-returning host View host Elisabeth Hasselbeck. She reveals that she loved being a full time mom during her maternity leave and is concerned how the family will adapt to moving back to their smaller quarters in New York City. She also adds that she received some generous gifts from Bill Geddie, Barbara Walters, the other ladies on the show, and even a baby outfit from Kathy Lee Gifford.
What I found most interesting was that she did not watch a single episode of The View while she was gone!

I am actually really glad to hear that she didn’t watch a single episode. Maternity leave is too short for tv.

Looking forward to EH coming back is like looking forward to fingernails on a blackboard. I’m not sure if I will tune in. I do think it will be interesting to see how Sherri & EH mesh. They share many ideas, but they don’t share the judgmental attitude, which could be trickier for Sherri to finesse than Joy, who just doesn’t agree with EH on many issues.

EH looks scary-skinny in this photo. The thin, stringy hair doesn’t look healthy either. And, no, I am not saying this as someone “who has hate in my heart.” It is just an observation, that’s all. Not to snark. I think it’s alarming and would be concerned for her if I hadn’t seen how much healthier she looked during her comeback appearance on the show today. Hasn’t she said she’s had an eating disorder in the past? I hope she never returns to looking like she does in this disturbing picture.
