New Rosie O’Donnell Video (Bet This Won’t Make Access Hollywood)
Rosie O’Donnell posted a great video on her website, which describes what Rosie’s For All Kids Foundation has done in the past few years, including giving grants to early childhood education providers, as well as her successful Rosie’s Broadway Kids program.
Although it seems like many of her other blog entries immediately show up on Access Hollywood or Extra, I doubt they will deem such a positive story “newsworthy.” Perhaps during this Thanksgiving week, however, they could find it in their hearts (if they have one?) to post this positive video about the ability to overcome obstacles and reach your dreams.

Thank You Winnie For posting this.
Far too little is ever mentioned about all the good, and heartfelt, caring things that Rosie does and brings to those in need. Not only children, but our soldiers as well.
I don’t expect to see the video on any television program.
Sadly, good deeds by almost anyone, doesn’t seem newsworthy.

I agree.
The video shows a wonderful side of a unique and wonderful woman. And even though we don’t see enough of that Rosie, I predict that if she just keeps keeping on as her true and honest self, in the end, she’ll win the hearts of the whole world. She won mine years ago.
Jane Fonda, Angelina Jolie, etc etc. Once widely scorned and now celebrated, and neither one of them seems to give a damn what anyone thinks. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that both are big money-makers. But Rosie has that going for her, too.
Her new show sounds great, but I was really hoping she’d go head to head with The View and give me an option for 11AM everyday.

Wonderful video, cried all through it. Always loved Rosie on her own show and on The View, miss her lots. Lucky kids who get to be in one of her programs.

Don’t know why, but I’ve never been a real Rosie fan. However, I saw her on NBC with Meredith this a.m. and saw a different side to her. Hope her variety show is a hit. America needs new fun shows and I know Rosie will make this one quite entertaining.

Meredith interviewed her…baited Rosie a few times into talking about The View. I thought Rosie handled it well.

Thanks Winnie! How lucky we are that you highlight the positive that Rosie brings to humanity. So many are ready to rip her to shreds and choose to neglect the impact she makes on the lives of many less-than-fortunate souls.
BW should be so generous…

Winnie, I wonder if those gossip programs will show Rosie hosting a charity event last night. Here are some pics:

Thanks, Stephanie. The pictures in your link prove that Clay Aiken isn’t upset about Rosie’s anger at Kelly Ripa and that Stephen Baldwin can cross party lines and support something that has Rosie’s name on it, despite his political leanings to the right. Take a lesson, Bitsy.
