I caught the last 5 minutes! Sorry I didn’t register, but I was listening!! Great job from what little I heard!

  2. ShannonP Says:

Good job Winnie! I listened to the whole thing from the start. Sorry I couldn’t call in.
I hope you do another one. That would be tough to do, especially without people calling in…but you kept it going the whole time, I was impressed.
I don’t know if the comments are interactive, where you can see them when you are talking?
    Thanks for doing that!

  3. Winnie McCarthy Says:

    Thanks, tallfreak.

ShannonP: I just noticed your comments over there now! Oops. Thanks for doing that. Next time I will mention what people say in the comments during the show.

  4. Sandy Says:

    Thanks Winnie,
I just listened to the archive of the show. I would have liked to have been able to listen live, and perhaps have commented. Maybe it will work out better for me next time.
I enjoyed listening, and thank you.

I thought you did a GOOD job. :)

I believe the show would do fine without Barb being on, and some times I think it might go more smoothly if she wasn’t.
However, I tend to think that Barb needs to be on the show, more than the show needs her.
I tend to agree with your sister, Ki-Ki, that Barb seems more confidant and comfortable with the newsy topics, rather than the fluff stuff.

winnie listened to your show thought you did a great job…i have to agree with you on the barbara subject…i really do think she thinks everything should be for the ratings…its all about the bottom line for her

  6. Daisy Says:

    Aloha Whoopi,

I love you. You are thinking about the average little people who are constantly being used by “BIG” business and their partners the U.S. political government.

Your comment, about recent bail out should include the average citizen so we can start to rebuild our economy, I believe is most sane premise to restart or rejuvenate the U.S. economy.
    Mahalo, Daisy

  7. C. Smith Says:

Thank’s for a terrific show. I love watching every day. However, Candice Bushnell today puts out “sophisticated” trash. Too bad it’s so popular.

  8. Anna Says:

I just would like to say that is sad the fact that the people that organizes the view put 3 ladies who were Obama supportes against one who was a Mcain supporter, it was really unfair and what I saw a couple times during The View was enough for me to decide do not watch it anymore, because I am someone who enjoys watching news or shows in general that are impartial, that means “do not take sides”, and The View is totally partial. I know other people who agree with me and do not watch that…
