Rosie answers critics of her response to Jerry Falwell’s death
On her blog, Rosie received several negative comments which came in response to what she said regarding the death of Jerry Falwell. She said that she was sorry for his family, but that his death did not make her sad and then said “whatever.” In response to each comment on her blog about Falwell, Rosie posted a quotation from Falwell, to prove a point that she had plenty of reason not to be sad regarding his passing. Among the quotes that she selected:
Homosexuality is Satan’s diabolical attack upon the family that will not only have a corrupting influence upon our next generation, but it will also bring down the wrath of God upon America.
Jerry Falwell
I do not believe we can blame genetics for adultery, homosexuality, dishonesty and other character flaws.
Jerry Falwell

WWJFD? He would probably smote all of those who blatantly contradict “God’s plan”.
I believe God our Saviour loves and accepts everyone since He is everyone’s Creator. How can it be in His plan that he would not be accepting of homosexuals? Are not the feelings the same? Is it all really about how the parts fit together? And what business is that of any person expect for perhaps the Almighty Himself?
I pray for Rosie and for JF. It is because of people like these that make this world so much more interesting.

Falwell was a racist, narcissistic bigot! I feel sorry for the people who followed him. His words of hatred in the name of Jesus were appaling. What is missing in a persons life to follow someone like him?
