Go Rosie!!! Girlfriend, you are a hoot. This is one of the funniest bits you have ever performed. Thanks for the belly laff.

  2. berndoubt Says:

    Go, Ro!

  3. Stacee Says:

    That was funny.
    :-p

  4. NanC Says:

    Goooooooooo Rosieeeeeeeeee Goooooooooooooo

  5. Stephanie Says:

    LMAO!!

  6. Roger from Ohio Says:

Rosie… if you stop by this blog…. I have an idea for you.

A little skit with you, someone playing “Barbara Walters” someone playing “Donald Trump” a little surprise lunch meeting of what is actually said…. and in the back ground…. what is actually thought.

Id love to hear that for real!!

GO ROSIE…. I hope your show is so successful that they bring it back for a full season.

  7. Asha Says:

Sorry gotta be against Rosie on this one. It’s like she just loves the attention or something. I have a job but I can’t quit and then bad mouth my boss for 2 years. Even if The View was horrible working environment, do you think any network would want to hire her now? The same with Star. I really think they both shot themselves in the foot, meanwhile the view is skyrocketing in the ratings.

  8. Jenny Says:

    well i like rosie
but im with BW on this one

I dont understand why rosie is still bad mouthing The view, BW, and EH when she has been off the show for 2 years.

and same with STAR shes been of for years now.
but she keeps the crap going.

All they want is there extra 15 seconds of fame.

and im sorry to everyone that disagree’s with me
    no fighting

  9. Melissa5 Says:

I’m with Rosie all the way - I think I’m also in the majority, so there, BW!I think it’s about time she retired -

  10. Beth Says:

Rosie’s getting interviews right now because of her special next week. Those interviewers are, of course, going to ask about her time on the View. BW was immature and passive aggressive to feel the need to respond to it. Rosie’s response was perfect.

Look, BW used Rosie, a daytime rating juggernaut, to boost her own collapsing show. When she couldn’t control what Rosie said or did, it got ugly and BW continued (continues?) to capitalize on it. The current resurgence of that show has everything to do with Rosie and nothing to do with the show itself or at least anything BW has done - except her constant bringing up of scandal.

The show was unwatchable by the time Rosie came on; I love Meredith and even I couldn’t watch it anymore. Rosie re-invigorated it, got people watching again and BW should thank her, not continue to bring up old dirt.

  11. Dana Says:

Rosie is fun and entertaining. I have to thank her because she makes me giggle and lets face it, there is a lot of bad news out there and that was funny!

  12. Roger from Ohio Says:

It keeps being repeated but isnt really the truth….

Rosie didnt quit…. her contract was up and they couldnt come to terms in the new contract. Rosie wanted another 1 year contract, ABC wanted a multi year contract. When the on air blow up happened, Rosie didnt come back for the final week.

For all of you that rip on Rosie…. answer me this… why was Barbara too chickenshit to speak Rosie’s name?

Beth is right….. Interviewers are asking her about The View… Yes Rosie is using The View in her promos, Rosie made that show popular again, and it put her in the lime light again, she should use it.

When EH went on Faux News they said she was from the view…. and dont they remind us that she was on survivor? Is EH using Survivor to promote her career?

  13. berndoubt Says:

How come nobody rips on Elisabeth about bringing up that “one year”?

Rosie gets asked about her time at The View and she has mostly been kind and respectful, still saying that she admires Barbara. But, God forbid, she also tells the truth, as she saw it, about how it was behind the scenes. If she, as a comedian, wants to make a joke about it, well, that’s what comedians do.

  14. susieq Says:

If Barbara hadn’t felt the need to respond to Rosie’s remarks this probably wouldn’t even be a story. It’s not like Rosie accused them of having things to hide. Oh yeah, that’s what Elisabeth accused Michelle Obama of.

Barbara seems to be friendly again with Donald Trump after their so-called feud so what does that tell you.

Barbara’s loyalty seems to be only to herself. If the Obamas asked to come on the View with the condition that Elisabeth not be there that day I have no doubt Elisabeth would be under the weather that day.

  15. MiamiVision Says:

Just my opinion, folks - I don’t believe that Le Cirque story with dinner with BW, WG, BG, and JB AT ALL! I think they conjured up this story that they all went to dinner so that BW could address what Rosie had intoned about no comaraderie after the shows. I so don’t believe that they went to dinner and is why Sheri looked so uncomfortable and said she was *sick* - and EH said she had “sick kids at home and couldn’t go.” I think they conjured up the martini amount story (who drank what) and I think the entire thing was a TOTAL LIE.
To me, the entire Le Cirque story was total B.S. and Sheri doesn’t like to lie ever.

Just my *take* on the show and going-out-to-dinner story.

    Have a nice weekend!

  16. Lajet Says:

Rosie is very very entertaining. and very smart. and very gold at what she does. and sometimes she is mean. I don’t have a problem with what I heard her say in interviews, but I think her promo is over-the-line.

  17. June Says:

LMAO! You gotta hand it to her for her creativity! That was a good laugh!

  18. Stephanie Says:

Thats a good point susieq, why was BW so proud to tell everyone that she is friends with trump again when he has been so mean to her?? And yet she cant bring up the name of the person responsible for making her show relevant again? Weird.

  19. BT Says:

BW is a hypocrite. She says that these “ladies” are trashing The View for publicity, but as senile as she is, she mentioned this because it would stir up all kinds of publicity for the show, and people would talk about it.

  20. jenny Says:

when did bw tell everyone about trump q

  21. GraceKelly Says:

I don’t think Barbara should have done that whole MOVE ON, LADY…..LADIES routine. It just made her look ugly.

I think they bribed them with a fancy dinner and staged it in a very public way at Le Cirque for a big show.

    Check this site out:

    lecirque.com

The price for that dinner and martinis could feed our families for several months. That was in poor taste to flaunt their dinner. Friday’s show was all about saving and pulling in our belts. $50.00 KID’s outfits?

They are all getting pretty irrelevant.

  22. Pat Says:

“Lady….she was pissed off”! What a great come back for Rosie. She is so quick and funny…totally opposite than the table of ladies that have to use note cards to get through their show. BW has to always look at a monitor when she speaks, which prevents her from looking at people when she talks and JB has to have someone write her jokes so she will seem funny. This show is way to scripted and makes them all look fake on air.
Come on “Ladies”, the audience and viewers are not dumb…we see right through you. None of you are pals off stage, and I bet you all backstab each other every chance you get. BW, I don’t you whenever you try to save face….you and your huge ego need to retire and allow a better show to come on and replace you. You have lost viewers and losing more each day…Good Luck Rosie…you have talent and you will succeed, just as you did when you had your own show, which was fab. (even though BW takes credit for your success)

  23. Dee Says:

I love Rosie! BW has shown her claws in so many ways that she is pathetic. She has no gravitas anymore and needs to retire.

They have sniped at Rosie subtly for quite a while. The Vegas comic, Whoopie noting year 10 recently and then Bits…they need to zip it too.

I would rather have Rosie as a friend and/or neighbor any day than any of the crew on The View!

  24. Stacee Says:

    Stephanie Says:
“Thats a good point susieq, why was BW so proud to tell everyone that she is friends with trump again when he has been so mean to her?? And yet she cant bring up the name of the person responsible for making her show relevant again? Weird.”

MY RESPONSE:I agree. And it is not just this incident; they’ve been doing the whole tptoe-can’t-speak-her name game for over a year now.

  25. Stephanie Says:

And also, I dont think the whole Rosie situation was WORSE than the star situation, that was pretty bad too, especially the comments star has made since then. Does anyone remember what Rosie did when she was moderater? She took a few minutes on the show and congratulated Star on her new show. That was her decision, I remember reading it on her blog. I wonder if Whoopi will be as gracious for Rosie’s new show, ok I dont wonder, I know what the answer is.

  26. susieq Says:

Barbara seems like someone who holds grudges. When Star (who was fired) and Rosie (who didn’t renew her contract) left the show it was like according to the View they no longer existed. Rosie has every right to say what her personal feelings are about the show. She had a front row seat to the backstage happenings for nine months so why shouldn’t we believe her account.

Barbara and Bill Geddie loved the publicity Star’s diva behavior and Rosie’s split screen with Elisabeth brought. If Star hadn’t blindsided Barbara by announcing her departure ahead of schedule the media probably wouldn’t have made a big deal about it.

Trainwreck TV is apparently what garners big ratings nowadays and Barbara, sadly, seems to enjoy being the conductor.

  27. Carmella Says:

Rosie brought viewers back to The View. Have only watched the nonsense around the election time - watch Elisabeth embarrass herself. I’m taking a little time to enjoy my view and it is not their show. Can’t wait to see Rosie’s new show.
