Rumor: Elisabeth Hasselbeck is Still Unhappy at View

by Winnie McCarthy

The rumors have not died down that Elisabeth Hasselbeck is unhappy at The View. The Chicago Sun-Times reported on September 29th that Elisabeth is “really upset” with co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar and that Barbara Walters called a ”cooling off” meeting to “keep a lid on things.”

I realize that this is not much of an update of previous rumors, but thought I would post it anyway. Especially since the tipster was my dad. Thanks for the link, Daddy!

  1. Cathy B Says:

Elizabeth and her really stupid comments (combined with everybody talking at once) keep me from watching The View. If she left, I would certainly tune in! I couldn’t believe her celebrity status and chair on The View was based on her participation on a reality show and her husband being a NFL player. If you must have an outspoken conservative woman on the show, please bring in one who can participate with thought provoking repartee.

  2. L1ttleGrrl Says:

Look, I understand all of us have opinions, but I am so tired of Elisabeth inturrupting all the other women on the View! Let them have their say! I am one that is very opinionated, but I try to allow people to have their own views and express them! Your view is not the only one, and definitely not always the one that is right, that is what makes it an OPINION!!! Shut up, just for a minute, and let someone else talk, for goodness sakes!

  3. Lara Says:

All she has to do is listen to others, not be rude, be kind, and much of her problem with go away.

  4. elena Says:

I would love to see her go. She’s very annoying, she thinks she knows everything. She’s rude to others. I noticed that when someone does not agree with her, she gets so upset, defensive and annoyed. I can’t stand her ugly voice. I stopped watching the View because of her but once she’s gone, I will be happy to watch it again.

  5. Stacee Says:

I am still unhappy with EH at The View too.

  6. Sandy Woodward Says:

    Winnie,

That was cool of your Dad.

  7. Sandy Woodward Says:

Yahoo had a poll up earlier. I could not believe the results or how many voted.

Would you like to see Elisabeth Hasselbeck leave “The View”?
    36% Yes, I can’t stand her!
40% No, she’s the only reason why I tune in.
    26% I couldn’t care less.

(578,222 people voted in this poll)

  8. Jenny Says:

i see alot of people hate EH but i remember when Winnie put a poll up and she was the 2nd most popularest co-host? i went on a myspace fansite of the show, and there was a poll on there and EH was the most popularest.

    i love lizzzzzzyy

now i no im gonna get slammed for liking her.

  9. Roger from Ohio Says:

I really dont mind EH. Sure she is opinionated but so am I. She interrupts people when she doesnt agree with them….. I kinda do that too. Actually, most of us dont like her because she is usually wrong ;)

Dont most of her people think we are wrong??

  10. Sky Says:

Well if Elisabeth is so unhappy then by all means, please leave The View. Why keep leaking how miserable you are? It must be coming from her camp.

I’m kind of tired of them proclaiming how they all love each other on The View, when it is clear that they don’t. Sherri and EH get along, but it’s weird how Sherri hangs on and pets Elizabeth at times. Sherri should go with EH and make room for 2 new hosts.

  11. Amy Says:

Leave already! She fits perfectly on Hammity’s shoulder. She is, after all, his parrot.

  12. marley Says:

She’s rude and whiney and pouts like my two year old. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I would prefer to have Joy and Whoopi any day over that bleached blonde narcissist.

  13. Dee Says:

I might start watching again if she left.

  14. Carol Says:

WHY DOES EVERYONE CATER TO EH?….ESPECIALLY BARBARA?
SHE HAS BEEN OFFENSIVE, NASTY AND RUDE FOR A LONG TIME AND THE TOPPER WAS THE INTRODUCTION OF CINDY MCCAIN AT THE REP. CONVENTION LUNCHEON,DISSING THE OTHER PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE’S WIFE “WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS”.
HOW DARE SHE CONTINUE THIS NEGATIVE SPIRAL AGAINST ANYONE WHO IS NOT REPUBLICAN AND KEEP HER JOB. IF THE VIEW WANTS TO BE “FOX” LET US ALL KNOW AND WE’LL STOP WATCHING.
THE TRUE REPUBLICAN WAS GOLDWATER…SHE ISN’T EVEN IN THE SAME ROOM.LET HER GO, B…….SHE’S A SURVIVOR …REMEMBER?

  15. Stacee Says:

    Jenny Says:
“now i no im gonna get slammed for liking her.”

No, but you’ll most likely get “slammed” for slamming those that don’t like her.

    Amy Says:
“Leave already! She fits perfectly on Hammity’s shoulder. She is, after all, his parrot.”

    LOL :-)

  16. Jen Says:

I only tune into the View on occasion. This is such a great show, but I get so annoyed with EH that I just can’t take it for long.

She is extremely opinionated, unable to construct a convincing argument supporting her opinions, and incapable of seeing any other viewpoint than her own. I just find her to be annoying and rude.

I don’t mind a conservative viewpoint, but PLEASE bring on someone who can support their assertions with logical arguments.

When you have someone who repeatedly clashes with other members of the show, you have to ask WHO is causing the problem.

  17. Vegas Says:

I would rather see Sherri ‘Dum Dum’ Shepherd leave the show before Elisabeth.

  18. kk Says:

    Pobrecita!! haha
If she was really the strong, independent, conservative feminist that she tries to come off as on The View then it wouldn’t bother her that her co-hosts disagree with her all the time, it would actually empower her. But, she’s immature - evidenced by her getting flustered and looking like she’s about to cry every time she’s put in her place, or, even more annoying, when she looks all proud of herself when the audience applauses for what she says.
On that note, they are only opinions, not your children EH, you don’t have to take everything so personally!!!

  19. Dorothy Ortiz Says:

EH,is a winnie rigthwing that needs to go.anyone who voted for the sorry excuse in our White House needs to GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  20. Real Says:

When I saw Lisa Ling come on the show the other day, it just reminded me of how EH was such a poor replacement to represent my generation. As a matter of fact, if you even look at the swap of Sherri for Star Jones, and Whoopi as a moderator for Meredith, it just all adds up that the producers have truly underestimated the intelligence of the American public not to take notice that the show has truly been watered down.

  21. Lisa Says:

I’ve never posted anything before and I really don’t know why I am now, but and I know my say is unpopular but I think many don’t like EH right now because of her political view. Right this election is bringing up so many “views” that it seems she is the only republican on the panel and that’s the unpopular vote on there. I know she is rude sometimes and that should be the reason people want her to leave. But I really don’t like Barbara Walters but like so many others that’s just a opinion. When you get 5 women in one place who do not agree
on things you get these kind of disagreements
Joy is very opinionated also and I think she is quite snotty herself, but just like everyone else on that panel she just has a opinion and when you put your opinions out on national t.v you’re going to have others not like you. Once this election is over I hope the things get back to normal.
The reason I do not watch the view is because of all the fighting among all them it’s their views not ours and I chose not turn them on if all they are going to do is fight and not ask us our view..Sorry so long-

  22. judy Says:

I LOVE Elisabeth. The only reason I watch it is for her common sense. Everyone else so liberal…..

  23. Billie Says:

I can’t believe how biased the ladies on the View are and don’t mind showing it. Poor Elizabeth is just trying to stand up for what she believes in just like they are. Instead of letting her voice her opinion they are trying to yell over her and won’t let her put her two cents in. Joy is beginning to irk me with all her rude comments about Sarah Palin. Some of the comments are so ridiculous she is beginning to sound like a first grader. I didn’t think a program was supposed to show such bias and try to sway people on how to vote. At least I didn’t think that was what this show was all about. I say send Joy home.

  24. leon Says:

elisabeth shouldnt be aloud to speak she to youg and she thinks she knows thing that went on thirty years ago and she barely knows what went on ten years ago.

  25. Bek Says:

I love that EH has an opinin and that she sticks to it, and she is a counterpoint to what the other hosts believe. With that said, I wish her opinion came with a different attitude and maybe a different person altogether. She’s a brat who believes she is the only one who has the right opinion. She’s completely defensive and disrepectful of her co-hosts. Se rolls her eyes, raises her voice and is sarcastic with legends such as Whoopi and Barbara. She needs to be canned.

  26. aleasha d Says:

BOO BOO BOO to elisabeth i am sick of her baby ways and barbara wiping her a**. she is immature and very pigheaded. if you disrespect barbara then youve have to go!!!

  27. Angela Says:

It is so typical of all of you with your liberal opinions to feel the way you do about Elizabeth. Elizabeth don’t agree with what your thinking so she should be silenced. Wait a minute isn’t that communism? I think Elizabeth Hasselbeck is the asset to the show, when she gets to speak. If anyone goes I think it should be Joy, she just about has a stroke if everybody don’t agree with her. And since when is it better to be a comedian, or a washed up movie star than a reality show participant?

  28. Charlie Says:

I used to like Joy. As a comedian I still do.
She is getting REALLY annoying for her “blinders on” yelling and bashing about everything that is conservative or republican. She yells over Elizabeth and won’t let her express her opinion or listen when Elizabeth is right and knows what she is talking about. Joy has become, jaded and annoying.

  29. Regina Says:

I think that Elizabeth is a Dumb Bimboo who wants to be seen as being intelligent and try to get away fromthe facts that her looks is her best feature i find that she is just so oooh that i cant find the words to say only thing i can say is that i cant stand her i cant wait till the day i dont see her on the view as far whoopi is the best producers did a good pick when they picked her joy i just love her sherri can be replaced with a more intelligent female

  30. Pat Says:

I stopped watching when Elisabeth started her tirades—can’t stand her!! Who died and left her the authority on all topics!

  31. Denise Says:

Leave Lizzy alone, They all seem to pick on her because she doesn’t agree with them. Tell me how many of you would stick up for yourself and your beliefs when you have Whoopi, Joy, and Barb attacking you not to mention Sherry (where the heck did she come from)add national tv to all that and I bet most of you would cave or waver she never has.
Good for you EH, Good for you.

  32. Laurie Garrett Says:

Whoopi is real, but not obnoxious like Rosie O’Donnell. She is also measured and thoughtful in what she says, which I appreciate. Elizabeth comes off as a know-it-all who gives no thought to anything, and parrots conservative radio. But, she’s ALWAYS RIGHT! Joy Behar is extremely knowledgable, and funny. Shari Sheppard? I total dope and nincompoop. The weakest link.

  33. lynn c Says:

EH only sees black and white. There are no gray areas for her. She needs a new fact checker. She needs to be silent and listen without breaking in to screech her ridiculous opinions. BW and WG try to teach EH how to participate in a moderate, low key, intelligent debate but EH is too busy shouting to listen and learn. Let her go to Fox, home of Faux News. No loss. NO LOSS!

  34. judi Says:

EH is a young conservative, opionated woman who tries to voice her thoughts over the ranting, railing, belching of Joy Behar. Behar claims to be an ex school teacher. Can this be whats wrong with our educational system today? Her hyena laugh drowns out all rational thoughts voiced by the rest on this show.Behar’s claim to fame is she finishes BW’s sentences for her.

  35. Shmily Says:

Wow! I watch the show everyday and ALWAYS get mad at Joy & Whoopi for interupting Elizabeth. They never let her finish a statement before they jump all over her like a pack of starving wolves on a fresh kill. Everytime she interrupts someone they have a fit and act like they never do the same thing but maybe they should go back and watch the shows and see just how much they do it to her. I would like to see it more balanced with at least 1 more conservative on the panel rather than 1 conservative against 4 liberals. I personally wish Joy would leave she is so rude and self righteous it makes me sick.

  36. Missy Says:

The twit’s claim to fame is to regurgitate points from the racist wind bag Hammity. EH screeches and spazzes out, rudely interrupts everyone when they’re speaking. Nothing wrong with her being a conservative and she is certainly entitled to her opinions…without interruption. She just needs to know she doesn’t speak for America and that her opinion is not the only one that needs to be heard. It is not HER view.

  37. Missy Says:

Real, I agree with you. EH is a poor replacement for Lisa Ling. I don’t know where she stand politically, but if she is a conservative/ Republican I would love to see her debate the ISSUES rather than EH. She (Lisa) will stick to the issues and not throw insults or attack a candidate simply because they are not republican. There is no doubt in my mind Lisa Ling is more professional and mature than this girl. Lisa is someone you would respect and could agree to disagree with; whereas, EH is someone you wonder is on (or should be on) medication.

We all know (Rep or Dem/Liberal) that is Obama had chosen Palin as his running mate (if she was Democrat) they would be slaughtered by Hammity, the fat wind bag and his parrot, Liz….thanks Amy :). If all that is going on with the McCane and his campaign was happening with the Obama campaign, it would be OVER! Obama would not stand a chance. Broslin’s delicate situation is handled with grace and dignity and respect. If she had been the daughter of the VP on the opposite side or even Barack’s, again…..it would be over for him. We all know that.

Hasselblech would get on her high horse of self righteousness and would be even more impossible to deal with. That high horse would grow another 12ft. in height.

I hope they do find another conservative for the show who will be a PROFESSIONAL and mature person who is willing to admit and acknowledge the wrong on BOTH sides.

  38. Debi Says:

I can not stand Elizabeth and her views are so not her age group…she needs to be replaced so that we can all enjoy the other ladies…Go Obama..GO!!!!!!!

  39. Ellen Says:

Gee, so I’m not the only one who notices that EH interrupts everyone, makes sarcastic remarks, and has absolutely nothing to say that is an original thought. Today, BW gave her the opportunity to defend her opinion on Palin’s competency, and all she could say was ” How is Obama qualified?”
She can leave tomorrow, I’ll be happy. Really happy.

  40. Donna Says:

How refreshing to have one person on a show that can stand up for her own beliefs. There already are 4 on the view that think alike…. why can’t you people deal with just one who doesn’t think like the others?

  41. Felisha Says:

NO ONE has a problem with EH expressing her opinions. The problem is how she goes about it. She seems to think she is right all the time and turns a deaf ear to other points of view. She is the one who cannot deal with others who think differently than she does. She just comes short of foaming at the mouth or falling out having a tantrum or seizure. She is not rational and when she is put on the spot to defend her statements, then, like most see with Palin, she is being “attacked”. That is ridiculous. I don’t agree with Joy and really don’t understand why Sherri is there, but I listen to what Joy has to say about abortion and spanking, for instance, even though I do not agree with her at all.

The thing with EH is she seems to believe that EVERYONE in the Rep party are right no matter who it is. There is NONE perfect in either party. NONE!! Someone said on another post that McCane could have chosen an acutal moose as his running mate and she would justify it. So true!! Most conservatives feel Palin is not qualified and want her to step down. These are people in her own party. Again, EH can express her opinion. But, she needs to realize that her opinion is NOT the only one that needs to be heard and behaving like a brat just shows her immaturity and lack of professionalism.

  42. Diane Says:

Whoopi and especially Joy are the bullies, not Elisabeth. She has always been outnumbered and the only way she can be heard is to interrupt and voice her opinion. Liberal democrats are so nasty to anyone who has a different opinion so it’s really a losing battle for EH.

  43. Barbara Says:

Let Elizabeth go. SHe has been nothing but a pain. I hated to see Rosie go because of her. Who will she insult next and make them leave. She is a big mouth, spoiled brat. I love watching the view but I can’t stand to see or hear her. She thinks no one should have an opinion but her. She won’t let anyone else get a word in. Let go . Go Elizabeth and Don’t let the door hit you on the way out!!!!!!!!!!!!

  44. Sara Says:

I stopped watching the view because of EH, She is so nasty to people when they don’t agree with her, Hello EH the show is called the view, Not Elizabeths View Only Show. She needs to go.

  45. Meredith Says:

Is it troll day? We have our regular posters on this blog, and then every once in awhile as if someone has a EH fan list and recruits them to visit, all these people show up out of no-where to praise Bitsy. Judy and Billie and Angela (anyone who brings up communism in such a ridiculous way is obviously a troll) Denise, Shmily, and Donna–where do you guys come from? I am interested in opinions from different voices, but how do you all show up together on the same day out of the blue?

  46. Roger from Ohio Says:

    Meredith–

It is obvious to me….. Cheney is behind it

  47. Leah Says:

Joy seems more rude than Elizabeth, she always goes a little too far with her comments. Barbara seems to be getting very egocentric with age and might want to think about about retirement soon (When she made the comment about Bill Clinton putting his hand on her knee … give me a break)! It seems Elizabeth feels like she’s being attacked, and she shouldn’t let herself get so upset, for her own sake. I didn’t know if she was still going to be on stage when they came back from the commercial break today.

I loved it when the next guest told Elizabeth she was brave and basically, who cares what other people think. Whoopie is being professional … good for her!

Arguing about Republicans versus Democrats is like arguing about which religion is best. I don’t like listening to anyone rant and rave and criticize what they don’t REALLY know. People talk about politics like THEY KNOW what’s going on, and people who don’t agree with their version of the truth are idiots or aren’t paying attention -well in life, there are no absolute truths, there are only opinions (and you know what people say about opinions … what they’re like … and that we all have them).

Anyway, we all just regurgitate information we hear that is slanted one way or another depending on which source of media you go to. So … those who are REALLY mean spirited, calling people stupid (and trolls, and blaming complex situations on a single person (Bush), please just try demonstrating some basic courtesy.

  48. Sandy Woodward Says:

    Dorothy,

‘EH,is a winnie rigthwing that needs to go.anyone who voted for the sorry excuse in our White House needs to GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I agree but would never compare our Winnie to Bush.

  49. Sandy Woodward Says:

    Meredith,

It is right-wing welfare. They get points.

  50. Meredith Says:

Sandy: I think Dorothy meant the adjective “whiney” not the person “Winnie”.

  51. Crystlhrt Says:

It cracks me up to wander in off the net, so to speak, and see all this venom towards Elizabeth. I just started DVR-ing the View in late August. (Now that my son is off to college in NYC, I get some time for myself.) I watch it regularly because of the Hot Topics and largely because of Elizabeth. Slanted liberal sound-bites are way too easy to find. I like that ALL the women ask questions of each other. They hold each other accountable, somewhat and they hold the campaigns accountable. I’ll keep watching The View as long as EH (or someone with some traditional values) is on it.

  52. Dee Says:

    “Everyone else so liberal…..”

Jesus was a liberal too, are you turned off to him?

  53. Beverly Says:

#45 Meredith - I just read a confession/expose’ article by a Ghost Writer for the Repub. campaign. She was recruited to write reams of Letters to the Editor to be distributed throughout the country, signed & submitted by locals. Maybe they’ve made their way to the blogs too !?!

  54. Diane Says:

    Amy, Real, Missy…

Right on about EH. I thought the same thing when I saw Lisa Ling guest appearance. Intellligent, thoughtful, critical thinker.

My personal prediction: EH will be recruited by Fox, be given her own talk show, will host a daytime conservative Republican roundtable ‘ala The View format. And be paid alot of money. All guests will be attractive , Repub women, who wear large crucifixes around their necks…ala Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, Michele Malkin. And they will play the Rev Wright tape over, and over and over and over…

  55. Elma Says:

I don’t get a chance to watch the view often. I saw a snippet of it a few minutes ago and my first thought about Elizabeth Hasslebeck is, she doesn’t fit. You can see that she feels strongly about whatever her views are, she seems to take what the others say personally as if they are attacking her. She looks very very unhappy, very defensive when she need not be. She is in her world, out of touch and very petty. Thst’s what I think.

  56. sherri from ohio Says:

Elizbeth seems to be very self-centered, spoiled and and compassionate in what she believes. She needs to remember to respect her elders and not to interupt as much as she does. We all know who watch the show know that she a Republican supporter. People do make mistakes, right Elizabeth, just like Paylin. We all do face it. Please stop defending the republicans and start having fun again like in the past. Frowns cause more wrinkles!!!!

  57. rainlillie Says:

Folks, # 54. Same tune different day.

  58. Cynthia from Placitas NM Says:

Like her icon, Geo. Bush, Elizabeth is hopelessly Narcissistic Personality Disordered. Don’t believe me? Look up the character traits of NPD and you have them both, IN SPADES. Narcissists constantly interrupting others trying to speak is a basic NDP trait. Further, narcissists cannot deal w/ reality and in spite of facts, EH and other narcissists still cling to their narrowminded viewpoints, against all the evidence to the contrary. Wake up and get a clue America! Narcissists are everywhere: Wall St., The White House, The View, the list is endless. Just google NPD and see the half million hits you get. Please become aware to this character disorder infecting our society and culture and the ills it propigates.

  59. Judi Says:

I realize I’m alone on this (and that’s ok because that makes me special LOL)), but after watching Hot Topics yesterday (10/1), I don’t blame Elizabeth for not being happy there. Four liberals to one conservative; a tad uneven, I’d say. I’m not saying I agree with EH or all of her views, but if anyone watched yesterday and can say with a straight face that they didn’t ALL attack her (as opposed to just Joy like it usually is), then I’m lost. Joy is the one I’m waiting to see leave. She literally ruins the show for me. I actually felt nauseous watching Joy and Barbara salivate all over Obama when he was on the show. Very unprofessional. JMO, of course.

  60. Darlene-California Says:

I am really so sick of Elisabeth and her defending the republican ticket. She constantly interrupts the other hosts whenever there is any negative/critical comment from the other hosts and becomes so irritating to hear her voice. She is very rude not to let each host have a say and then respond. I am almost at the point of not watching the View any longer. If Elisabeth is so unhappy and the rumors are true, she is better off leaving the show.

  61. Lorraine Says:

I have decided to stop watching the View. I love the show and I realize one person not watching is not going to matter. However, ELIZABETH is the most rude, annoying, ignorant person I have every heard. She spoils the show because she never shuts up, thinks she knows everything about everything, never lets anyone talk to complete a comment. PLEASE GET RID OF HER THE THE BENEFIT OF THE SHOW. COME ON BABBARA YOU ARE TO SMART FOR THIS.

  62. Stephanie Says:

Elisabeth’s agent has released a statement that says she will NOT be leaving the View for Fox News and that BW and BG “consider Elisabeth to be vital to the program”. I read this on people.com’s website. I’d post the link but it usually doesnt show up but you can google it and find it, I’m sure.

  63. Stephanie Says:

Here’s the link, if it works it works, if not oh well.

    http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20230887,00.html

  64. Carol Says:

Having a or a couple of conservatives on the show is vital. I don’t doubt that one bit. However, EH is one that can be replaced with someone more rational and who will NOT feel PERSONALLY attacked when someone in the Rep party is criticized. They (The View) need or should replace her with someone more intelligent, articulate, mature, and well informed person who could debate topics and take criticism without behaving in a rude childish manner. EH will easily point out the speck she will see in the eye of a Democrat and not acknowledge the plank in they eye of a Rep, including herself.

The View needs one who will acknoweldge the good and bad in BOTH parties and NOT agree with EVERYTHING their party does. We know for sure her passionately defending Palin would not be the case if this woman was a Democrat. EH will demean her in every way possible and then turn around and claim that she is all for the encouragement of women who are independent and strong, etc.

Some may have stated before that the problem with EH is not because she is a Rep. The problem is her inability to listen to others whose views are different from hers and cannot handle it if she is being challenged or proving downright wrong. In a way, I wish Lisa Ling was back on the show.

  65. Winnie McCarthy Says:

Thanks, Stephanie. I posted about that earlier:
    http://www.watchingtheview.com/rumor-denied-elisabeth-hasselbeck-not-leaving-the-view/

  66. Monica Says:

After reading many of the comments here….it can leave no doubt that just like the women on the VIEW….they are very opinionated as well.

I am convinced that several words need to be eliminated from our dictionary….among them are words that divide and/or corrupt…..like lobbyist….like republican….like democrat! Labels are meant to divide and masses of people are apparently consumed with keeping us all divided against one another and common sense has no place any longer in our lives.

A couple of decades ago a tiny little girl named Jessica McClure fell into an abandon well….the word went out for help in getting this child out….safe and alive. People came from all over to help…..they were not questioned about their political and religious beliefs….they were not turned away because of the color of their skin or the language they spoke. They were welcomed to come and help…..and they did just that.

They had one goal….and that was to save this little child and they did! This is proof that wonderful, positive things can happen when we all pull together!

Folks…..our country is in serious trouble on so many levels and it should behoove us all to come together for the common good of ALL. Our hopes, our dreams and our basic needs are basically they same……..please let’s not get so got up in things that infringe upon our time and our ability to do good deeds.

As for the women on the VIEW….I believe Joy and Whoopi are insightful and deliberate in what they say about serious issues……they also are blessed with a marvelous wit…..and I am so thankful they are on the view. As for Elizabeth, she is a beautiful young woman but I sadly believe she has a very closed mind and simply is not interested in entertaining any VIEWS that may differ from what she may think she believes.

Election day is not far away…..if you aren’t registered….do register today! Care enough to do your “homework”…..learn about the candidates and come to your own conclusions as to who you hope will put forth their best effort locally and nationally……and then vote! (FactCheck.org is an excellent site to actually get true facts about candidates).

  67. Carol Says:

    Thanks Monica.

The election is rapidly approaching. Please get out there and vote. Forget all the mudslinging and accusations we have all witnness lately. Based your decision on what YOU KNOW is right, not based on the opinion of others. The issues both candidates speak of affect us ALL, Republican and Democrat. Think about what is best for our country and for our people. Regardless of color, political stance, religion, or sex…we all benefit or suffer do to the choices made on our behalf. The economy is the worst it has ever been.

Thanks Monica, again for your comment. You are indeed right and I wish more thought clearly as you obviously do. EH is one of those people who would benefit from having an open mind.

  68. Kelly Says:

Beautiful point Monica - I have FactCheck.org in my Favorites/Bookmarked. Everyone should.

  69. Stephanie Says:

I used to like her but ever since the presidential race started she has been so rude. She cant even try and compliment the Democratic side. Everyone can say what they like/dislike on both sides. All she does is talk crap and repeat what the Republican strategists are doing. I think its ridiculous and she needs to get her own brain or go ahead join Fox early, because we all know thats where this is headed, she obviously opportunistic. I love Whoopi, Joy and Barbara <3

  70. Ivy Says:

Can someone please shut EH up. Have an opinion but don’t go overboard with it. I wonder if she will ever concede that the Dems can so something right and the Reps can be wrong sometime? If you are so unhappy EH, pls leave. I will not miss you.

  71. joajames Says:

Elizabeth needs to leave the view, I agree that she would best be suited for a political opinion on Fox. I would like to see the view have the conservative side represented by a “thinking” conservative woman, someone who does not just parrot the right wing talking points. She never has an independent thought. She is completely predicatable and never varies from the most right wing opinions. There is not way she has a mind of her own.

  72. Gloria Says:

EH needs to stay, I get a kick out of seeing her arguing as all republicans tend to do trying to outshout anyone and everyone.
I hope she stays, it gives me a reason to distrust republicans more! just watching her use the same lines about Democrats but trying in vain to defend lying republicans.

For EH “four more years! four more years” ;)
