The Star Jones show cancelled
Former View host Star Jones Reynolds is once again out of a job because The Star Jones Show has been canceled. The show, which airs on TruTV, formerly Court TV, will broadcast its final show today. The stated reason for the cancellation is “the rebranding and programming focus of the network.” The network revealed that Star will remain with the network as a “contributing legal expert.”

I know she takes a lot of flack, especially for her last year on the View, but Star always struck me as a very intelligent, nice woman. Sure she really didn’t “get” Joy at all, but I still like her ok. So I’m sorry to hear that her show was unsuccessful, can’t say I’m entirely suprised though… It was an odd formula that seemed a bit out of place on CourtTv… From what I can tell at least, as I don’t actually get that channel.

Star is not my most favorite person. There is just something about her personality that is annoying to me. Having said that, I am really sad to see that her show was cancelled. She strikes me as a smart and savvy person who knows her stuff. The article she recently wrote concerning Heath Ledger’s death was absolutely on point and I commend her for it.
I’m hoping this cancellation means this is an opening for her to do bigger and better things.

I have always liked Star, and enjoyed her on the View. I didn’t watch the View in Star’s last year. (work prevented me). So I’m not that familiar with some of the things that happened during that time.
I always felt she was intelligent, and was glad that she had her own show.
I’m glad that she will remain at the network, if that’s what she wants to do.

I must admit I didn’t watch her show but I had hoped it would be a success. I read somewhere she had a play or pay deal so that she walks away with millions…I hope it is true. I will never forget how she was stabbed by BW on air. It was a foreshadowing of things to come for Rosie O.
