Today’s scheduled guests are Maria Shriver and Bob Guiney, host of Date My House.
I have watched a couple episodes of Date My House and I get annoyed quickly because Guiney says a derivation of “date this house” at least 10 times per episode. The concept of the show is not that complex, but he feels the need to repeat it constantly. If you have watched it, you know what I mean.

I listened to Joy today on Air America radio and she wasn’t very impressed with the Maria Shriver interview; she felt like it ran too long and that her book is trivial(my word). She read an excerpt from the book about Maria’s son referring to MS as just a housewife and how MS was offended by that title, proclaiming that she is a journalist!
Then a caller made fun of MS’s hair and Joy said it was too long like Morticia Addams and Joy and the caller agreed that MS looks like a bird! Joy is way more honest on radio. She said she enjoys not having to argue opposing views. Many people ask how she can work with EH and she said they differ on politics, but really are friends off the show. Joy also loves Bush bashing,of course (without BW hushing her), and loves hearing from “converts.” Too bad it was her last day on radio; she is a natural and even funnier than she is on the View.

I’m watching (actually WAS watching) today, and just can’t stand it. I’l probably repeat myself when today’s recap comes up. Listening to EH argue with Whoopi was sooooo ugly. It was like arguing in Wonderland (as in Alice in Wonderland) where black means white nad words mean what you want them to eat. It was sort of like, what’s mine is and and what’s yours is ours. She goes on and one, and then when someone else is talking, she wants to share time. They point out her contradictions and she just goes blithely long and ignores the contradiction. SHe doesnt’ care what others think. She doesn’t care if she is misunderstood. She doesn’t care to clarify her thoughts to show how they are really consistent. SHe is just interested in spewing out her talking points. When asked to back up McCains qualities they were often vague - and ridiculous. McCain cares about national security (as if Obama & Clinton don’t - ooops no time to discuss have to move on.) McCain cares about taxes for middle-class (as if Dems don’t). YOu can argue their individual plans, but EH isn’t htat in to details.
Well, enough of my rant. What a waste. INcluding me writing this stupid rant which will make no difference to good of the earth and/or mankind. I need to go clean myself off and do something meaningful.

LOL. I meant “where words mean what youw ant them to mean.” I was eating lunch at the time (that’s my excuse - glad Freud doesn’t hang around here.)

Okay, This time I’ll read through the whole thing and do all my corrections at once:
PRIOR POST: It was sort of like, what’s mine is and and what’s yours is ours.
SHOULD BE: what’s mine is mine and what’s yours is ours to share.
ADDED - sort of like arguing/negotiating with the Russians during the cold war.
That’s that’s the only signfiicant one, which would probably be figured out anyway. I didn’t bother with the typos which are way too many.
I do think that EH is over her head on this show, and is being used by others for their own purposes and agenda, and she has no idea. I think she is young and immature, and I feel sorry for her being put in this position. However, I don’t think that means her absurd assertions, and inconsistencies, should go unchallenged. I was a stupid kid (way too stupid to admit how badly) and the way kids have been maturing for centuries is by living with the consequences of being young and immature. I’m just glad I didn’t do it on a national stage, and I wonder about those that are propping her up. It’s good for her bank account (no small thing) but not for her soul.

I’ve been boiling over & chomping at the bit at EH today. This was too much to bear! I had to post something after witnessing EH’s irrational rampage. I could tell Sherri was pretty mad, too, or upset. She did great in trying to reason with EH. As did Whoopi, and Joy.
I hope Sherri reads this so she can see my big ThANK YOU to her (and Whoopi) for speaking up so forcefully to EH & not letting her get away with her crap. And thanks to Whoopi for referring to EH’s resurrection of Rev. Wright as “crap.” When Whoopi said we needed to focus on how Obama would be with the issues, EH actually said that Rev. Wright IS an “issue.” WTH?? Does she really not know what is meant by “issue”? What a bird brain. I detest her.
EH wiggled all over the map from her initial point. Her first point was how “concerned” she was that people would vote for Obama ONLY because he was black & would vote for HC ONLY because she’s a woman. It’s an idiotic premise to begin with.
Next time she brings this up, I hope Whoopi & Sherri ask her if she is equally “concerned” that there will be people who will NOT vote for Obama simply because he IS black & will not vote for HC simply because she IS a woman.
Someone on this site said the other day she believed people here object to EH not because of what she says, but how she says it. Well, count me out, whoever you are. Because I object to WHAT she says AND how she says it.
And EH actually suggsted they use a stopwatch on the show to time each other’s comments, to give each other equal time. Ring any bells, anyone? This is the tactic they use on Hannity & Colmes (last time I was forced to watch it).
Please, please, someone take this childish political hack off the show and replace her with a grown-up person who has conservative views! I can’t take any more of this!
