Here is The View schedule for May 19-23. I wonder what the “special announcement” is that they are going to make on Monday?

MONDAY, MAY 19 – A “Day of Hot Topics”; the co-hosts interview Barbara Walters about her new memoir, “Audition”; the co-hosts make a special announcement.

TUESDAY, MAY 20 – Anderson Cooper.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 21 – Denise Richards; Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear (“The Muppet Show,” Season 3).

THURSDAY, MAY 22 – Eric McCormack (“The Andromeda Strain”); Brooke Smith (ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy”); Julianne Hough performs.

FRIDAY, MAY 23 – Harrison Ford and Karen Allen (“Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”).

    Is it just me or are the guests on The View becoming less interesting with each month that passes?

    Here’s hoping that the special announcement will be that BW will not be back and is finally going to retire. I’m so tired of hearing about her book. I have no interest in her and find her annoying on The View.

    On a positive note, I’ve come to enjoy Whoopi more as the moderator.

    Another interview about that book?
    Gahhhh, how big is this book that she has to not only go on numerous talk shows, but also be interviewed by the View host-crew? And why them? That would be like my mom interviewing me for a job interview. And their interviewing skills leave a lot to be desired…

    Oh well, I won’t be watching.
