Here is the schedule for The View next week, subject to change. I think that the Bill Maher interview could be interesting, as he certainly is not one to hold back on his opinions. I will be happy to see former host Lisa Ling back. I have always liked her.

MONDAY SEPT. 29 - Jennifer Hudson; Selena Gomez (Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place”); Lisa Ling, former co-host of “The View,” joins the co-hosts in “Hot Topics” to discuss her ABC News “Nightline” special.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 30 - Bill Maher; Kevin Farley and Robert Davi (”An American Carol”); Dr. Drew Pinsky.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 1 - Miss Piggy; Peter Krause (ABC’s “Dirty Sexy Money”); Diahann Carroll (author, “The Legs are the Last to Go”).

THURSDAY, OCT. 2 - Greg Kinnear (”Flash of Genius”); couple voted off ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”

FRIDAY, OCT. 3 - Anne Hathaway (”Rachel Gets Married”); Troy Dunn (”The Locator”).
