Tim Hasselbeck Returns to Television

by

Tim Hasselbeck, husband of The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, is set to return to television as an NFL analyst for ESPN, according to the Boston Herald. Last fall, Tim announced games for the Fox television broadcasts, before being signed as a mid-season back-up replacement quarterback by the Arizona Cardinals.

Tim is expected to make his ESPN debut next week on NFL Live Monday where he will be a studio analyst. This career move should keep him working on the east coast so that the family will not have to uproot and move cross-country like they did last year. Certainly this is good news for the Elisabeth fans, but bad news for all those who dislike her, as there is no foreseeable reason why she would be off the show. Unless she gets pregnant again.

I’m sure he feels good knowing he can help support his family. It’s good for children to have stability in their lives, instead of moving from home to home.

So, I think this will be beneficial to everyone involved. TLB has become such a caricature, it doesn’t matter to me if she stays or goes. I’m I have a DVR and a remote, I can fast forward past her nasally rants.

  2. misslingdow Says:

Rain– LOL on nasally rants!! Good one!

  3. Michael Says:

The good thing is now the posters here won’t be worried about his masculinity living off his wife’s income.

Of course, the only people that believed that were exhibiting their own sexist views that the man had to be the breadwinner.

  4. Sandy Says:

I’m sure that this is good news for the Hasselbeck family, and I’m happy for them.

  5. May Says:

I’m sorry but he looks like a woman to me. Go ahead picture him with a wig on. So, looks aren’t everything.

  6. Kit Kat Says:

Oh, puke! 2 of them on the air!!!!! I also fast forward TLB. I also find that I’m fast forwarding Bawa. I can’t listen to one more plug for AUDITION.

  7. Asha Says:

May #5: I knew this post would get nasty comments, and there we go. I don’t think its fair your willing to criticize looks, unless your willing to post your picture on here for all of us to critique.

    Asha Dear,

(”I don’t think its fair your willing to criticize looks, unless your willing to post your picture on here for all us to critique.”)

The correct use of the word should be you’re, as in you are, not your. :-)
Althought the last “your” was used correctly.
It’s sad how correct grammer is no longer being learned in schools. Very sad. :-(

You mean Although and grammar? lol

  10. Yellow4Ro Says:

    ShannonP!

    Your percyslee write! ;-) LOL

  11. May Says:

Yellow4Ro, :-D Yeah, these youngsters just don’t “git” it.

  12. UES Beyotch Says:

I agree with you Michael!! It seems that the posters here are sometimes scary in going with the party line of the Democrats. It would be nice if they appreciated a differing view than just the one political view presented by all the hosts of “The View”. Some would have you believe they don’t have a brain that interprets whether their views are in fact the same or different from “that Republican”. A woman breadwinner is mocked by those who can’t handle her “Conservative” views…hmmmm!

  13. Julianne Says:

    I’m a “woman breadwinner” and I think she’s a naive, uninformed, idiot.

Besides, someone has to earn the family.

  14. Kit Kat Says:

    Julianne;

    I agree with you.

  15. chicki Says:

I’m sorry but I am sitting here watching the view and wishing someone would put a muzzle on elisabeth, she really bugs me with her I know and I am right. I really feel sorry for Tim.

  16. lilkunta Says:

    @3 michael
Who questioned his masculinity? All the times that Ive brought Tim’s unemployment in was in defense of EH. Tim’s unemployement may have been another stressor(along w tring 2 sell her AZ house in this bad market) on EH which may be why she is up all night, thus gets no sleep, thus talks nonsensical stuff on TV.

Anyways, it is now 21 Dec. Is Tim still with espn?
