Trump sends letter to Rosie

by

Yesterday, reader Dexie e-mailed me a link to a story in People that reported that Rosie and Barbara had a backstage argument before the show on Monday. According to the article, Rosie accused Barbara of not denying strongly enough Trump’s assertions that Barbara told him she regretted hiring Rosie.

On Monday’s show, Barbara said she didn’t know they were going to bring up the topic of Trump, but since they did, she said she would like to again assert that anything that Donald Trump said she said about Rosie was untrue. After the comment, Rosie said, “Well, that’s nice.” It appeared to be a sincere exchange and no tension between the two was visible.

Now, according to TMZ, Trump wrote a letter to Rosie on Tuesday in which he told her that Barbara has lied to both of them. He asserted in the letter that Barbara called him from her vacation and tried to prevent him from retaliating after Rosie’s initial comments about him. According to Trump, Barbara told him “working with her is like living in Hell.” The full text of the letter is available here.

As an aside, ratings from this season’s opening episode of “The Apprentice,” this past Sunday were down over last spring’s season opener.

Rosie O’Donnell and Donald Trump should face off in the Octagon. Winner is decided by whomever wallops the other AND climbs out of the ring.

He’s so over the line on this one that I’ve given up the Apprentice. I just can’t even enjoy the corporate shenanigans of that show knowing he’ll show up and make me ill.

I have a hard time believing BW would be that open/honest with such a big mouth as Trump…saying that her employee is a living hell to work with?

Wow. This is more detail about The View than I have had in years! This is awesome, I can now watch the view without really “watching” The View.
I think Trump sort of went overboard on this last little publicity-stunt.
