Do you work for The View?
No. I am an independent site with no ties to The View, ABC, or any of their affiliates.
Are you affiliated with any political organizations/websites? (Although it is usually not asked so politely)
Despite strong accusations that I am a secret right-wing site and, in contrast, an obviously liberal blogger, I try to keep my website content politically neutral. I am, however, secretly biased.
Why do you still write about Rosie O’Donnell even though she is not on The View?
In part because I still keep tabs on all the previous hosts from The View and also because the show was reinvigorated when Rosie joined the cast and I started this blog in large part because of the great things that Rosie brought to The View.
When are you going to fire Elisabeth/Joy/Sherri/Whoopi? When are you going to retire, Barbara?
I cannot fire anyone, because I do not run The View. I am not Barbara Walters. I, Winnie, will not be eligible for retirement for another 30 years or so.
Can you get a message to one of the hosts? Can you get me tickets? Can you help my family member with their problem?
No. I am not affiliated with The View and cannot get you in contact with the hosts or get you tickets or get them to talk about your family member’s plight on the show. Try the ABC website.
Why is my comment not showing up?
If you are a new commenter (or are using a new IP address or new e-mail address), your comment will automatically go into moderation. I try to approve them as soon as I can. If you are not a new commenter, your comment may have violated the The Watching the View comment policy. Or, the spam filter may have mistaken you for spam.
