I saw that there maybe/possibly be a new movie about the life of Prophet Mohammed(saas) and the critic were saying it would be a fluff piece and kind of like the movie The Message( which I saw many moon agos) about his life. I was wondering post 9/11 do we have to have a more gritty pieces when it come Islam? who will watch a moive about Mohammed(saas) other than muslims anyway?

  2. Roger from Ohio Says:

President Obama is choosing his cabinet. He has picked Hillary as Secretary of State, Robert M. Gates, staying in his current post,
Washington lawyer Eric Holder as attorney general and Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano as homeland security secretary. He also planned to announce two senior foreign policy positions outside the Cabinet: campaign foreign policy adviser Susan Rice as U.N. ambassador and retired Marine Gen. James L. Jones as national security adviser.

My question is this…. are they actually doing the show just for their audience, or are they talking about other stuff since they have been preempted by this press conference?

  3. marilyn Says:

Roger- I have noticed, when a show has been preempted, it will show up as a full hour “replay “, on a week ( or day ) when they do reruns.

  4. marilyn Says:

Roger -Should we copy and paste your question #2 and response #3 to the recap comments? We are not off topic and your question is a valid one.

  5. rainlillie Says:

All I’m going to say is Dr. Rice is a good choice.

  6. Roger from Ohio Says:

I know many people are freaking out because President Obama has picked Hillary for his cabinet.
What needs to be remembered is that even though the press and campaigns tried to show how Hillary and Obama are totally different, the reality is they are pretty much the same when it comes to policies and ideas on helping to rebuild America.
Gates is also a good choice. The continuity as the Defense Secretary is quite important. If both Gates and Hillary Clinton would not be able to follow orders from President Obama, they wouldnt have accepted the position.
I have also heard the “concerns” about what roll with Bill Clinton have. It doesnt matter if Hillary is the Sec of State or not, Bill will be a very important adviser to President Obama. Just like Bush used his father as well as Bill. Just like Bill used Jimmy Carter. Past presidents are very important to the current sitting president.

I just hope Berndoubt will start singing about how great America will be again.

  7. marthe Says:

One of the many problems though is that Dumbya did not seek advice from his dad. He consulted Jesus.

  8. diamondlil Says:

I wonder if Hillary will bring back the silver ware she stole from the White House?

  9. rainlillie Says:

At least New York will finally get another Senator other than Schumer, who will work full time to benefit the citizens of the state. So in that regard I’m glad she took the job as SOS.

  10. berndoubt Says:

The Clintons didn’t steal silverware from the White House when they left. I believe the only “vandalism” was by staffers who took the “W”s from the computer keyboards.

I wonder if people will ever check their facts.

  11. Roger from Ohio Says:

Thanks for posting the truth berndoubt….

It is a shame that no one will believe it though. Too much time has passed besides…. the ones that believe the lies are the same ones that think that Bush did a good job.

We all know the only job that Bush did to America what they accuse the Clintons of doing to the Whitehouse, and there was nothing good about that…… shameful.

  12. diamondlil Says:

You are absolutely right Berndoubt. They didn’t steal the silverware…..they walked out with their good morals…well, at least Hillary did.

  13. Roger from Ohio Says:

It sure is a shame that George W. Bush didnt discover any of those “good morals” fake as they actually are.

  14. Stacee Says:

    diamondlil Says:
“You are absolutely right Berndoubt. They didn’t steal the silverware…..they walked out with their good morals…well, at least Hillary did.”

MY RESPONSE: Like your good morals - the same morals that led you to blatantly LIE about Sen. Clinton in your earlier post?

I wonder if people will ever check their facts.

Wow…very good question…if I remember correctly, no one was checking facts when all the smearing was being done about Gov. Palin. Just post and run with it!

  16. Stacee Says:

    Pat Says:
“Wow…very good question…if I remember correctly, no one was checking facts when all the smearing was being done about Gov. Palin. Just post and run with it!”

MY RESPONSE: Like you, of all people, can talk.

  17. Pat Says:

Stacee…I have learned by experience from this board….you have taught me so well. This is just the beginning….hang on, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

  18. Roger from Ohio Says:

    Pat–

No one “smeared” Sarah Palin….. she is the one that embraced the killing of moose… wolves… and turkeys. Sarah Palin is the one that spewed about who Obama hung around with… at the same time she hung around a group that wanted to secede from America. She claimed to be qualified for office…. but she couldnt name one thing she read…. she couldnt name one supreme court ruling… she couldnt name one McCain policy.

Obama didnt need to point any of this out because even the Republicans didnt want her as part of the ticket……. Obama won anyway

  19. Stacee Says:

    Pat Says:
“Stacee…I have learned by experience from this board….you have taught me so well. ”

MY RESPONSE: How’s that? Please cite examples.

    Pat Says:
“This is just the beginning….hang on, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.”

    MY RESPONSE: Yes, for you.

  20. Roger from Ohio Says:

    #17 Pat–

This is just the beginning….hang on, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

We expect the truth Pat….. Im sure that is a word that confuses you. Truth is what actually happened…… not something that you think happend… or something that someone told u happened….. If something wrong happened I want to know about it…. but just because some right wing nut case said it doesnt make it true
