Do you have any close up pictures of elisabeth hasselbecks hairstyle? I love the way she wears her hair and was curious if there were any good pictures showing this? Also-the color of her hair is beautiful-does anyone know what color she uses?

looking forward to today’s show.
wonder which face elizabeth will wear today?

CNN is speculating that Elisabeth Hasselbeck would be a candidate to replace Oprah when she retires 2011. Where did that come from???http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/showbiz/2008/11/19/sbt.new.oprah.cnn

gracekelly-
sounds like they getting they’re info from a palm reader.
if that happens, i’m boycotting the show.
November 19th, 2008 at 11:18 am
Won’t happen.
November 19th, 2008 at 11:30 am
To clarify, CNN was discussing who would take over the open spot on the schedule if Oprah’s show moves to her upcoming network.
They were not saying Elisabeth could take over hosting Oprah’s talk show.
If Elisabeth were to get her own show I think she would have an audience limited to people that agree with her. Elisabeth really didn’t become widely-known until she became very vocal about being a right-wing Conservative. The reason Oprah and Ellen are so successful is because they aren’t known for being political.

Thanks for the cnn link! I watched the first 60 seconds and clicked off to email showbiz tonight. That is the most idiotic conjecture of all times! Polar opposites in every way. You want a young, hip, educated republican w/tv skills.. how about Amy Holmes? She probably has an agenda for fame and her opinions could be off at times…but at least she has a presence and ability to listen and speak effectively while being pleasant.

It was weird to even think about. I cringe when LDV speaks to accomplished guests; I can’t imagine her having her own show. Oprah and Ellen let it all hang out whether it’s weight gain or whatever - the show us their insecurities, etc. They are HUMAN. Elisabeth can’t even apologize to us for actions at the RNC?
Host of her own show? I think not.

EH-never. But I would watch Joy if she had her own show.
November 19th, 2008 at 3:39 pm
To even suggest that EH could possibly replace Oprah is completely and utterly absurd. Regardless of your thoughts about EH she is no where qualified to carry her own show, let alone step into the likes of Oprah’s shoes.
She could probably host a right-wing Convserative hour with others of her ilk. Not much else.

Young ladies, you need to cool your jets. Elisabeth will never replace Oprah. Never…ever.
November 19th, 2008 at 7:23 pm
I didn’t watch the CNN thing, didn’t care to. It would never happen. Oprah, even though she rubs me the wrong way sometimes, she owns herself and is fierce. She knows herself and she has a confidence. Elisabeth is like a little girl that has never grown up, never had an orgasm, never found herself, has no idea who she truly is etc. I don’t think she’d have the confidence to have her own show ever and if she did, I think it would tank fast.

Rosie’s take on the whole everyone is pals thing. I think she is obviously just talking about it now to get attention for her show, but I would imagine there is truth to it too.

Ah yes - I just read that ShannonP - and then I found this!
Dickipedia: Elisabeth Hasselbeck
Elisabeth Hasselbeck (née Filarski; born May 28, 1977) is a former reality show contestant—not even the winner, mind you, or even the runner-up—who somehow became co-host of one of the most popular daytime talk shows of all time, and a dick. Though not especially well informed, Hasselbeck is, nonetheless, an irritatingly vocal supporter of conservative viewpoints. Also, she bears a striking resemblance to one of those “It’s a Small World” animatronic robots they have at Disneyland, if those robots were programmed by Sean Hannity.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a panelist on The View, the program that pioneered the format of four women jabbering over each other for an hour and a half, interspersed with commercials for Boniva and a special kind of yogurt that promises to regulate your bowels. In this capacity, Hasselbeck’s main duties involve baiting the other panelists to drop the F-bomb on national TV and attaining a level of shrillness that would make most testicles re-ascend. Of course, anyone with external genitalia really has no business watching The View, so it would serve them right.
Because she enjoys such incredible exposure, many liberals consider Elisabeth Hasselbeck one of the country’s most dangerous conservatives. They might be on to something. As it has been proven time and again, Americans love them a televised idiot.

Here’s an article from the Washington Post and a great quote from it (there are many great quotes, pick your favorite):
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/11/18/AR2008111802886.html
To be more specific, the evangelical, right-wing, oogedy-boogedy branch of the GOP is what ails the erstwhile conservative party and will continue to afflict and marginalize its constituents if reckoning doesn’t soon cometh.

I have a tough time believing that link that you posted. I was reading Rosie’s blog during that whole time. She said on her blog many times that EH and her used to send each other emails. Rosie didnt leave because they disagreed about politics, she felt betrayed by her friend when EH didnt defend her.
Also, it says that Rosie said that BW fired her…. On Rosie’s blog, she said they couldnt come to terms on the new contract so they didnt renew it well before the on air blow up.

#16, it seems more believable after you go to this link:

In this article Rosie said it for affect in her stand-up act, not during an interview or as a factual piece of information.
It’s a Rosie day in America!

berndoubt–
maybe its true or maybe it isnt…… the only info that I have is Rosie’s blog. There would be no reason for her to lie on her own blog after she left the show.
Go back and read some of the archives on http://www.rosie.com
Ill shut up now
It’s a quiet night in America!
