Thanks for a good analysis. It’s too bad that instead of building on what Rosie brought to the table, the other co-hosts are seemingly back-peddling to their old ways. In previous Emmy discussions on the show, Rosie mentioned that she thought the four of them could be a united team rallying to a win. I think she even said she dreamed of it and thought it would come true. But I think she gave up on it since none of them showed any winning spirit. Even Barbara said today she didn’t think they could win. I think this contributed to her decision not to go. In the end, it is sad to see her heart is no longer in “The View” because of the lack of support from her co-hosts. At this rate, she probably won’t even bother to come back to guest co-host in the future.

hey guys, thanks for the analysis…
i am a huge fan of the show, have been watching for the longest time. I have to say i was devestated watching the hot topics yesterday… to see the ladies maul each other in such a personal way… I mean i have seen them all go at it many times before but the hostility between the co hosts was palpable.
There where many things that happened during the show and specifically hot topics that made me think that there are some major issues going on… After Joys obvious discomfort with Barbras raving about how good rosie has been for the show, joy as she has done many times before made the point that it is an ensable… Barbra trying to nutralize the hostility tried to segway but completly forgot Joys name and was stumbling for a few seconds…. this very much annoyed Joy and she then went onto to tell Barbra that her own days on the show may be numbered…
I have been searching for more info about this particular episode but been unable to find anything, is this not as big a deal as i believe it is ???
