Winnie: I enjoyed the podcast & have now found that the old ones are launching right away (I’d had trouble in the past). Especially appreciated #3, where you discussed the DVD “Outfoxed” that shows how the proverbial sausage is made. Everyone should see that DVD. In future podcasts, it’d be interesting to hear your views about EH & if you have seen a change, especially since her appearances on the Fox channel. Do you think she is being encouraged and perhaps being groomed to be more belligerant in her views, perhaps for a talking-heads spot on Fox? I’ve never thought she was the quiet-as-a-mouse host as she’s been portrayed by the media, but I do think she is revealing less open-mindedness now, and more loudly. As for Joy, she seems to have become more valuable to “the franchise,” so I’d love your thoughts on that, too. Any chance Joy would be the moderator, or is she now established too firmly as the left-wing voice on the panel?

I just listened. Good podcast, Winnie.
Expanding on the ratings: I think it’s also worth mentioning that I’ve heard people that left the show when Rosie came aboard are now back since she left. So that may have balanced or evened the ratings.
I would not enjoy seeing Mario Canton or Ross the Intern everyday as permanent hosts. I’d most likely not tune in were that to happen. Whoopi seems to have lost that spark. If she got it back I would not mind seeing her in that seat. Sherri, I don’t know, I don’t enjoy her as much as I used to. Gayle would be a top runner. She seems to have her head on straight.

Excellent podcast, Winnie. I have mixed feelings about Gayle King. I like the fact that she is so even-tempered and polished. However, I don’t think that she would contribute a strong view in political discussions. I’d like to see how she would react in a debate of current events. I think that the other co-host position should present a strong view politically. Elizabeth is very passionate about her views. If other hosts do not speak up, we will be receiving one strong message.
