Watching the View Trivia Contest

Would you like to win one of the cool new fall 2007 mugs featured on The View (pictured above)? Then you should enter the Watching the View trivia contest!

Here are the rules:

(1) There are five trivia questions (listed below). The answers to the questions can be found throughout watchingtheview.com. Although you can probably find the answers to some of these questions other places, you also need to find them on this blog (see 2)

(2) When you find the answer to the trivia question on watchingtheview.com, you have to click on the title for that blog entry and get the permalink (for example, the permalink for this entry is: http://www.watchingtheview.com/watching-the-view-trivia-contest/)

(3) Send all five trivia question answers (with permalinks of where you found them) to winnieblogs(at)gmail.com (replace the (at) with @)

(4) The first person to send an e-mail to winnie(@)gmail.com with the correct answers to all five questions and give the permalinks to where they found the answers on watchingtheview.com will win the lovely View mug pictured above.

(5) All other submissions with the correct answers and links will be entered into a drawing. From the drawing, two more winners will be selected. Each of those winners will also win a mug!

(6) The deadline for submissions is Oct 15, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. central time.

Questions? Leave them in the comments below or e-mail me at the address above.

Any comments which list the answers will be deleted, so please e-mail your submissions and do not place them in the comments.

Good Luck!

The Questions:

(1) Who co-starred with Sherri Shepherd in a pilot for a sitcom in which Sherri had to learn a choreographed “karate dance”?

(2) What is the name of the camp that Barbara Walters’ daughter runs?

(3) In what country did Joy say that her and Steve’s sex life “sizzles” more?

(4) What is the name of the gluten free beer, good for people with Celiac disease, that Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Rosie O’Donnell tried on The View?

(5) What man, who was involved with Princess Diana, did Whoopi Goldberg say that she knew personally? (Hint: This discussion took place when Whoopi was a guest host on the program)

  1. Sandy Says:

I myself am not the contest entering type. I had thought though that this was a great idea, and am surprised that you have no entries.
    Good luck to those entering.

  2. Meredith Says:

I think you haven’t had many entries because it’s too time consuming to go hunt and peck for permalinks. I like trivia contests when I can just answer the questions directly. Thanks for the idea though.
