Whoopi Goldberg at the Spirit of Achievement Luncheon

On The View yesterday, Barbara Walters mentioned that Whoopi Goldberg was receiving a Spirit of Achievement award. Here is a photo of Whoopi from the event, which was held at a luncheon yesterday in New York City.

The annual event is a fundraiser sponsored by the Women’s Division of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. It raises money to support medical research and education programs by “honoring outstanding individual women in fields such as philanthropy, the arts, business, government and journalism.”

    Congratulations to Whoopi, she is certainly a very deserving recipient of the award.
    Also what a great fund raiser.

    Not sure about half the time, but the other half she’s doing a great job challenging Elisabeth’s ignorance.
