Will the feud ever end?
On Monday’s show, Rosie was back from her holiday vacation. Although she and Barbara both expressed a wish to move on from the Donald Trump feud, her comments on the topic became yet another associated press article making the rounds. On the show, Rosie stated that it was Donald who was keeping the story going, by mentioning it all of his “Apprentice” promotional television appearances. She said he kept going like “the Eveready comb-over bunny.” It was funny in context. In the AP article, however, they only quoted the “comb-over bunny,” part which makes no sense and is not funny.
Later on in the show, after Joy brought up Trump again, Rosie sarcastically said “He’s obsessed with me, obviously. It’s the way I look. He can’t resist.” Another very funny moment of comedy, which became the headline of the latest AP story. Of course the headline read only “He’s obsessed with me.” Sarcasm does not always translate in print, but the writer of the story could at least put the comment in context.
Rosie also commented that when Donald called her “fat,” it apparently upset a lot of overweight women. Over the holidays, she had several women come up to her crying, upset by the comment. Donald Trump answered back in the press, saying that although he did call Rosie “a slob” and “a loser,” the word “fat,” had a “very small role” in his description of her. Not exactly words from a man wishing to end the feud anytime soon.
Time will tell if this verbal feud will continue, although it was not mentioned on Tuesday’s show. Perhaps Rosie’s comment on Monday that Trump would now be like Lord Voldemort and his name would not be spoken was true.
If you want to put an end to the feud and finally declare a winner, why not try your hand at the Rosie v. Trump game at the Game Show Network? You can pick either side. If you choose Donald, you will be armed with the “killer comb-over.”

I really wish I had tivo sometimes. I don’t get to watch the view very often, but I did actually see the original episode where Rosie said the things that got Donalds hair in a fluff. What she said wasn’t that bad and really not that untrue. I support Rosie,

I think that the “war” has been blown out of proportion because of a slow news month-an execution of a former dictator was not enough to satisfy Fox.

I really believe this all started because Trump needed publicity for this latest chapter of The Apprentice. I saw Rosie’s original comment and thought it funny at the time. If anyone over-reacted, it was Trump. His ego is out of control. I will not watch The Apprentice this season. I am sick of his overblown opinion of himself.
